If you want to enable the co-host option in your meeting settings before the meeting starts, here’s what you can do:

1. Zoom Web Portal:
   • Go to the Zoom web portal (zoom.us) and log in.
2. Settings:
   • Navigate to “Settings” in the left-hand menu.
3. In-Meeting (Basic):
   • Under the “In-Meeting (Basic)” settings, find the “Co-host” option.
4. Toggle Co-host Option:
   • Toggle the switch to enable the “Co-host” option.

Now, when you start a meeting, you should have the ability to assign co-hosts to participants during the meeting using the steps I mentioned earlier. Enabling the co-host option in the settings gives you the capability to make others co-hosts on-the-fly.
